Wonderful women have left great contributions throughout our history and will most likely continue to do so as the years go by. As part of the development of this blog, we will continue to reference articles that highlight the participation of women in our current society. In this opportunity, we invite our readers to see the attached article in the image about Margaret Manayay.

This article talks about how Margaret Luz, a 29-year-old woman born in Lambayeque surrounded by natural elements, sought to take advantage of these elements to help other mothers in the community to get out of poverty. She created an enterprise now known as Simbiosis, which takes advantage of the commercialization of an edible mushroom dried by women who live in the Piedra Parada farmhouse and other neighbor centers.

With her company, Margaret has obtained enough financing to expand the business and provide technical support to the drying process. In addition to teaching women about harvesting protocols. In 2022, a container of dehydrated mushrooms went abroad to the European market, and it is expected that the company will continue to grow and help the women of the community.
